    On 10/27/2019 at approximately 1:50 am Andover Township Officers were dispatched to The Bare Den on Route 206 in Andover Township for the reported person struck by a motor vehicle in the parking lot. The motor vehicle in question, a 2016 Hyundai Sonata, left the parking lot and continued Route 206 southbound. A description of the vehicle and the license plate were obtained from witnesses and provided to responding Officers. The vehicle was located by Byram Township Patrols traveling 206 South in Byram Township. The driver was identified as Jacqueline Lowe of Pompton Lakes, NJ. Lowe was placed under arrest by Byram Officers and charged with several motor vehicle and criminal offenses. Lowe was then turned over to Andover Township Officers.

    At the scene, Andover Township Officers continued with aid to the victim and investigating the incident. The investigation revealed Jacqueline Lowe, ran over the victim with her vehicle several times causing serious bodily injury before leaving the scene. The victim was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries and remains there in stable condition.

    As a result of the investigation, Jacqueline Lowe was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1B(1) a 2nd degree crime; Assault By Auto, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1c(2), a 3rd degree crime; Possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-4D, a third degree crime; and Possession of a weapon, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-5D, a fourth degree crime. Lowe was additional charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Suspended, Reckless Driving, leaving the scene of an accident with Injury, and failure to report an accident. Jacqueline Lowe was lodged in the Sussex County Jail.
