— The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride is resting at Action Bikes and Outdoor today, May 16, from 1 to 2:30 p,m., at which time nearly 100 cyclists will be escorted by Milford Police down Broad Street as they continue south on Route 209 for the remainder of the day, according to Action Bikes, which writes:
"These men and women are nearly halfway on their 500 mile journey from Boston Massachusetts to Arlington Virginia. This long distance cycling event honors and celebrates the lives of all EMS workers who serve everyday, those who have become sick or injured while performing their duties, and those who have died in the line of duty. Come and visit, cheer, listen, and congratulate them."
