Peopleshould vote on mayor's salary

I was approached this week in regards to signing a petition to have a referendum so that we the people can vote for our elected Mayors pay raise. Not to stop the Mayor from obtaining his generous $40,000 pay raise, but so that we can vote on it!

I thought, what a good idea. I myself am not self employed, and when I need a raise, who do I ask? None other than my boss. Well the Mayor works for the people, so who better to ask.

Go democracy!
