Couple plans April 25 wedding

VERNON — Jill and Angelo Costello of Vernon announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Costello, of Newark, Del., to Michael Dougherty of Hazleton, Pa. The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Vernon Township High School and a 2010 graduate of Marywood University. She is an athletic trainer at ATI Physical Therapy and Ursuline Academy High School. The groom-to-be, son of Joseph and Mary Theresa Dougherty of Hazleton, Pa., is a 2005 graduate of Bishop Hafey High School and a 2009 graduate of The Catholic University of America. He is currently in his third year attending The Commonwealth Medical College studying towards his medical degree. The happy couple are planning an April 25,2015, wedding.
