Elaine J. Sandberg hosted a presentation for Pope John High School students about the home buying process.

The class, made up of juniors and seniors, study all aspects of Money Management in Mr. Carlson’s class. During the presentation Sandberg fielded questions regarding the value of using a realtor for real estate matters, how home inspections affect the outcome of the purchase and what effect the market crash had on the real estate market. She also described the benefit of using a realtor in a rental transaction, as many students will be graduating, going off to school away from home and may be renting rather than residing in dormitories.

Sandberg has been an agent with the Gross & Jansen offices since 1998. As a Sussex County resident for most of her life, she uses her knowledge to educate her clients and help them through the purchase and sale of residential properties. She is certified for short sale transactions in order to assist clients when faced with selling their home for less than they owe the bank for the property. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors and Sussex County Association of Realtors.
