Friends of High Point announce Yoga on the Mountain

The Friends of High Point State Park recently revealed its Yoga on the Mountain schedule for 2013.

The classes are held once a month in April through November at the High Point State Park Interpretive Center. The first class of the season will be Saturday, April 19, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Future classes are scheduled for May 17 — 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.; June 20 — 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.; July 18 — 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.; Aug. 15 — 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.; Sept. 20 — 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.; and Nov. 8 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Individuals with all levels of experience are invited to participate, but must bring their own Yoga mat. A suggested donation of $5 or more is requested. Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
