Space Farms Zoo and Museum had Opening Day on Saturday.

There have been many new additions at the zoo. A new bear enclosure has been added, a new barn yard barn for the chickens which the sale of the eggs paid for. Murals painted on the buildings and enclosures by Lori Space Day. Tiger Lily has been reunited with her mom, Tara, and dad, Charlie, after almost a year of training and handling. Unsinkable Molly Brown is a 3-week-old Mouflan Sheep. born with weak back legs that with therapy and exercise is doing better. She had her first day of being outside on Saturday. Mouflan sheep are native to the <iddle East.

Patagonian cavies are a new addition this year. They will weigh in at about 30 pounds and resemble giant rodents with ears and fur like a rabbit. Once they get acclimated to the zoo, the cavies will be out for viewing. Rare white Elk that have blue eyes, a snake den, young of all varieties and species, petting area, playground, a gift shop, antiques, car collections, picnic area, extreme pizza and more. There is plenty to see and do, spending the day.
