DOGS of Vernon hosts Easter egg hunt

  • Barney the Beagle scours the box of already discovered treat eggs hoping to find an errant treat. Sure enough, he found a few. He came to the park with his mom DOGS volunteer Pat Lang of Highland Lakes.

DOGS of Vernon held its annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.

More than 50 people and pups hunted for plastic eggs filled with dog treats and a few with special prizes inside.

The park has been fully-operational for nearly a year but the need for fundraising to maintain the park and make improvements goes on.
