Vernon PAL to offer day at the farm

VERNON — The Vernon PAL with Fox Ridge Farms is offering a "Day on the Farm," starting April 27
Kids will learn to care for and ride horses and build confidence. Kids ages 6-14 are welcome to the event. No riding experience is necessary and helmets are provided. Campers should bring lunch and drinks and should wear jeans, boots or sneakers.
Applying sunscreen prior to arrival is recommended.
There will be additional dates June 8 and July 27. The program runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with the cost of $65 per day.
