SUSSEX BOROUGH — The Sussex Borough Council will solicit bids of sale regarding the Borough’s water treatment plant, distribution system and waste water system on April 15.
The resolution carried 4-1. Councilwoman Linda Masson voted against it, and Councilwoman Annette Stendor was absent.
Masson said the advertisement was “still very premature.” She said the council should complete the water/sewer rate change audit in order to straighten out the rates. Also, there also is the possibility of adding more users which could lower the rates.
