Kenneth P. Batal, 54, of Lincroft, pleaded guilty to third-degree possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. Sentencing is scheduled for May 16.
Batal admitted to possessing four pounds of marijuana with the intent to share it with another individual on April 16, 2013 in Hopatcong, according to the prosecutor’s office.
The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.
Justin Rathfon, 23, of Vernon, pleaded guilty March 31 to criminal sexual contact, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for May 16.
Justin J. Reeck, 30, of Denville, pleaded guilty to burglary and theft, both third-degree offenses. Sentencing is scheduled for May 23.
Reeck admitted that on June 17, 2012, in the Township of Wantage, he stole property from a residence where he was living at the time.
Jamie L. Ezzo, 34, of Hamburg, pleaded guilty to third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card. Sentencing is scheduled for May 9.
Between Oct. 1, 2013 and Jan. 31, Ezzo obtained a credit card in the name of the victim, without her permission or knowledge and used the cards at various stores while forging the victim’s signature.
David Vervalin, 47, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to two years of probation and 30 days community service.
Vervalin pleaded guilty on Jan. 27, to eluding, a third degree crime, and criminal
mischief, a disorderly persons offense.
Dale Norman, 47, of Newton, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 13.
Norman admitted to distributing heroin to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force in the Town of Newton on Aug. 19, 2013. He also admitted to possessing heroin in the Town of Newton on Sept. 24, 2013.
Anthony Mesiti, 29, of Montague, pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary, all third degree crimes. Sentencing is scheduled for May 13.
Mesiti admitted that on Aug. 26, 2013, in the Township of Montague he entered various residences and stole property and money.
Sean Secula, 22, of Lake Hopatcong was indicted on charges of burglary, a third degree crime, and obstruction of administration of law, a fourth degree crime.
Shane Clancy, 20, of Hopatcong was indicted on charges of burglary, a third degree crime and obstruction of administration of law, a fourth degree crime.
Rebecca Dwyer, 21, of Hopatcong, was indicted on charges of hindering apprehension, a crime of the fourth degree and unlawful taking by means of conveyance.
On Dec. 20, 2013, in the Borough of Hopatcong, while investigating a burglary, Secula and Clancy allegedly fled from police officers with help from Dwyer.
The case was presented to the grand jury. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be held within the next six weeks.
