DOGS of Vernon plans golf outing

The inaugural DOGS of Vernon Nine and Dine Golf outing will be held at the Cascades Golf Course in Hamburg on Thursday July 31.

All proceeds from this outing will go towards maintenance and improvements to the Vernon OFF-Leash Dog Park.

The evening will start with a modified shot start at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner in the Chestnut Room on the third floor of the Crystal Springs Country Club. Various prizes will be awarded as well as a 50/50 raffle. and cash bar.

The cost per player is $75. Dinner only guests pay $40 per person. Hole sponsorships also are available.

The Dog Park is open to the general public, and was built without the use of taxpayer money. All funds were raised with donations and fundraisers.
