Two township men face charges after township police responded to the rear parking lot of The Spa for a report of two males breaking car windows on May 24.

Joshua Mueller, 20, and Devyn Ryan 18, were charged with three counts each of third-degree criminal mischief, five counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, six counts of burglary and theft.

Police said a security officer at the Spa saw the two men running from the scene and followed them near the maintenance shed in the rear of the lot. Police said they arrived and took Mueller into custody at the shed, while Ryan allegedly ran through a wooded area to elude police before finding him at Mueller's residence.

Police said they discovered they had allegedly damaged eight vehicles in the Spa parking lot, causing more than $10,000 in damage to the vehicles. Police said six vehicles were entered and items were stolen from the inside.

They were sent to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
