Cedar Mountain holds fourth-grade family art night

VERNON — Cedar Mmountain Elementary School recently held a fourth-grade family art night on Monday, May 19. About 130 were present for the event.
Art teacher, Mrs. Joanne Portner, hosted the art show with a studio component of paper sculpture making. The fourth-graders were invited to bring their families for an evening of art appreciation and sharing. Each student had a watercolor still-life painting and a sculpture on display.
Additionally, they could show their guests how to make tissue flowers and origami puppets, lessons they had learned in art class.
