Sussex Borough receives bids for water system

Sussex Borough received two bids for the borough's water treatment plant, the distribution system and the waste water system.

The sale opened at 10 a.m. on June 13.

United Water bid $4.5 million for only the water treatment plant and the distribution system, while Aqua New Jersey bid about $11.4 million for the water treatment plant, distribution system and the waste water system.
