Ashley Hammerle, 19, of Highland Lakes was charged with driving while intoxicated and texting while driving.
Police said officers responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Route 94. Police said Hammerle was taken into custody after the administration of field sobriety tests.
She was processed and released pending a Municipal Court appearance.
