The spirit of giving resounded recently as RoNetco Supermarkets, operators of ShopRite stores in Sussex, Morris and Warren counties, assisted the United Way of Northern New Jersey by donating an 85-case pallet, or 2,040 cans of ShopRite vegetables, valued at $1,000, to support the efforts of United Way’s Foodstock event.

This donation is aligned with ShopRite’s business philosophy of being Partners in caring for neighbors’ families, homes and communities.

“Communities that work together to advance the common good are more apt to be successful," said Dominick J. Romano, vice president and chief operating officer. "We are happy to combine our energies to fight hunger in the communities served by ShopRite stores."
