Agencies scheduled to participate in the picnic include the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Sussex County Community College, Catholic Family and Community Services, Sussex County Division of Senior Services, Sussex County Municipal Alliance, and the Sussex County Mental Health Board.

This picnic will be held as a gesture to show appreciation to Sussex County Veterans and their families. All service men and women to attend this event held, specifically, in their honor.

“Now that summer has arrived, a picnic is the perfect setting to enjoy some good food and meet new people as you gather with family and friends," Lorraine Hentz, director of the Sussex County Division of Senior Services said. "This event also provides a wonderful opportunity for veterans and their families to network with each other, access information, and build new connections to the community.”
