Girl Scouts conducting kids book drive

VERNON — Members of Girl Scout Troop 858 is hosting a children's book drive to earn their Silver Award.

This project will provide books for children to read at doctors’ waiting room offices.

Books may be dropped off at a Girl Scout drop box inside the Dorothy Henry Branch library on Route 94 in Vernon through Oct. 4.
