About 14 full-size school buses and several smaller ones brought in hundreds of seventh- and eighth-grade students for the year’s first day of classes at Glen Meadow Middle School on Sammis Road.

Throughout the morning Principal Pauline Anderson and Assistant Principal Eric Kosek visited classrooms to welcome the children.
