Westys holds dual gymnastic meet

FRANKLIN — Westys Gymnasticscelebrated its 20-year anniversary, hosting its first meet of the USAIGC season on Saturday, Nov. 15.

It was an in home dual meet with Flyers Gymnastics from South Jersey.

Samie Copley (8) of Vernon had a 9.5 vault 9.0 bars, 8.8 beam, 9.1 floor.

Andrea Piedresanta (9) of Hamburg scored a 9.45 vault 9.05 bars 8.75 beam 9.2 floor.

Cassie Sullivan (10) of Sparta scored a 9.4 vault, 8.4 bars, 8.55 beam, 9.15 floor.

Hanna Garafano (7) of Franklin registered a 9.0 vault, 8.45 bars, 7.4 beam, 8.2 floor,

Grace Reveredo (9) of Hamburg scored a 8.9 vault, 8.1 bars, 8.3 beam, 9.25 floor, and Angelina Reveredo (6) of Hamburg had a 7.8 vault 6.4 bars.

Westys Gymnastics has been will host this year's New Jersey State meet for the bronze and silver levels. Flyers Gymnastics will host the Copper, Gold, Platinum and Premier levels.

Westys will host a Toys for Tots open gym event on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 2-3 p.m. Admission will be $10 per child or a new unwrapped toy of equal value.
