Libraries plan Read & Play events

NEWTON — The Sussex County Library System will host Read & Play at four library locations beginning the week of Sept. 14.

Geared toward children ages 6 months through 6 years, Read & Play features stories, songs and activities to help introduce young children to the joy of reading. The program will run for eight weeks at the Dennis Branch (Tuesdays), Main Library and Louise Childs Branch (Thursdays), and Franklin Branch (Fridays).
