All SCCC nursing students pass

    Sussex County Community College’s Spring 2015 Certified Nurse Aide students all received New Jersey certification after completing state written and skills assessments.

    The 10 students completed a 90-hour training program held in conjunction with the Homestead Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Frankford N.J.

    The CNAs receiving certification were Hugo Coello, Amanda DiPrima, Karen LiCausi, Elaina Muscolino, Steven Reilly, Jacqueline Slaska, Bonnie Susen, Emily Vanderhoff, Rose Walton and Gina Zaccaro.

    Sussex County Community College offers the Certified Nurse Aide training program once each semester with a limit of 10 students per class. The training is approved by New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and includes 50 hours on classroom instruction and 40 hours of clinical experience.
