Fire Dept. plans chicken, rib dinner

SUSSEX BOROUGH — The Sussex Fire Dept. will host its fifth annual family chicken and rib dinner on Satuday, Aug. 29, at the firehouse, 25 Loomis Ave.
Tickets will cost $16, which will include 1/2 chicken, 1/2 baby back ribs, corn on the cob, seasoned potatoes, cole slaw, watermelon and a canned soda. The dinner is a BYOB affair.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner will begin at 6 p.m.
All tickets are available on a pre-sale basis. Take-out meals are available.
