Martinsen submits petitions for mayor

VERNON — Gary Martinsen recently submitted petitions for Vernon Township mayor on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Martinsen said his petition received 225 signatures of the 159 signatures of registered township voters.
Martinsen is one of three challengers challenging incumbent Mayor Victor Marotta in the Nov. 3 general election. Former Mayor Sally Rinker and former Councilman Harry Shortway also have filed petitions in he mayor's race.
