Vernon seniors picnic held at PAL pavilion

Face painting is popular with the kids, but VernonþÄôs senior citizens love it too. Here Pixie Pop the Clown gets a hug from grateful Vernon senior Bunny Music.

Senior center worker Carol Gormley of Franklin was one of the grill masters for the picnic.
Some of the ladies enjoyed line dancing to music provided by DJ Ray Sikora of Ogdensburg.
Frank Macherone wanted his face painted with the image of a wolf. Balloon creations and face painting was provided by Kerry Tobin of Highland Lakes, better know as Pixie Pop the Clown.
VERNON — Last Thursday, more than 100 people attend the Vernon Senior Citizens picnic held at the Vernon PAL pavilion.
The barbeque included hotdogs and pulled pork sandwiches and an assortment of ice creams was served after lunch. The afternoon lunch included balloon creations and face painting provided by Kerry Tobin of Highland Lakes, better know as Pixie Pop the Clown. Musician Ray Sikora of Ogdensburg was the DJ for the event.
