Fall art show opens at Skylands Gallery

Wantage ‑In celebration of the fall season and all the wonderful beauty and outdoor activities associated with this time of year, the artists of Skylands Gallery are giving the September show the theme of 'Harvest'.

The 17 local artists of the gallery are happy to announce the next exhibit and reception on Saturday, Sept.12 from 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Many new and exciting pieces will be exhibited in the expanded gallery space including hand-crafted pieces, pottery, jewelry and stained glass from local artisans,

Dozens of new works are being created for this show and over 300 will be on exhibit.

There are several new members of the gallery who will be exhibiting work for the first time st Skylands.

In addition to many paintings and photographs, there will be three-dimensional pottery, glasswork, jewelry and metal-work.

Come out and enjoy an evening of fine art, complimentary food, beverages and live music by tri-state sensation Hali DeRito.

Skylands Gallery will doante 10% of all sales from the evening to the featured charity, Manna House of the First Presbyterian Church in Newton.
