This 1963 Chevrolet Impala convertible was a favorite to visitors. The carþÄôs memorabilia included a pair of fuzzy dice and a speaker from a long-ago-closed drive-in theater. The car belongs to Highland Lakes resident Phil Badu.

VERNON — As a departure from the usually musically-themed Food Stock concerts of the past, Saturday marked the first time Our Lady of Fatima Church enlisted the help of antique car enthusiasts to help support their Families Feeding Families efforts.
Although the show was free, those stopping by to see the cars were asked to donate canned goods or dried food. The purpose of Food Stock and Families Feeding Families is to raise people’s awareness of our neighbors who are still hurting economically. It is to those people to whom the food and gift cards will be distributed.
