Antlers celebrate 10 years

Sussex Antlers Lodge No. 5 President Andrew Lang thanks some 70 guests for attending the celebration.
Some of the 70 guests who attended the Sussex Antlers tenth anniversary gathering had the unique opportunity to enjoy a nearly eyelevel parachuting show as these tandem ski divers prepared to land in the fields at the Sussex Airport below.
WANTAGE — On Saturday evening, about 70 guests including the Elks state president, district vice president, state Antlers advisor as well as many other past and present dignitaries attended the 10th anniversary celebration of Sussex Antlers Lodge No. 5.
A pasta dinner was served to each of the members and special guests.
Sussex Antlers No. 5 is the youth group to the Sussex Elks Lodge No. 2288. As with the charitable work of the Elks, all proceeds from fundraising efforts are earmarked to benefit the Antlers’ charitable work, which includes working with special needs children and veterans as well as drug awareness for the community good.
