Sussex Middle School students recently received Chromebooks, which will enable them to access Google apps for Education, Superintendent Jeanne Apryasz announced on Sept. 25.

Students also will be able to use science Discovery Techbooks throughout the school day.

Curriculum Coordinator Patrick Higgins later said a large quantity of Chromebooks were already distributed last year. Every student from third- through eighth-grade uses a Chromebook while in school.

There are more than 340 students attending Sussex Middle School and 356 attend Wantage Elementary School.

The community actively participated.

Apryasz also said Craig Bogardus from Industrial Process & Equipment, Inc. helped unload all of the equipment after it arrived at the school.
