Kathy Ann 'KC' Cohan

Kathy Ann “KC” Cohan, 46 years old, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Kathy Ann was born to Arthur B. and Catherine Cohan in Jersey City, NJ and grew up in Vernon Twp., N.J., she then lived in PA before moving back to Ogdensburg, N.J. and most recently lived in Newton, N.J., for the last year.

Kathy Ann was a graduate of Vernon Twp. High School and then attended Sussex County Community College. She started work as a dispatcher for the Vernon Twp.. Police Department and then worked as an administrative assistant for Able Oil in Newton for many years before becoming the manager of I Love Oil in Sparta, N.J., 7 years ago. She was an active volunteer with the local animal shelters, a true animal lover and a giving friend to all.

Kathy Ann is the beloved daughter of Arthur B. and Catherine Cohan of Stockholm, N.J. Dear sister of Kelly Ann Moeller of Tuckahoe, NY, Arthur S. Cohan of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., and Kris Ann Cohan of Vernon Twp., N.J. Loving aunt of Jefferey, Samantha, Sophia, Arthur, Maximilian, Chyna and Zyon. Cherished granddaughter of Margarita Hernandez of the Catskills, NY.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ for memorial visitation on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, from 2-6 p.m. Memorial Mass to follow at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, N.J., at 6:30 P.M.
