Vernon plans trunk or treat

VERNON — Vernon Township will hold a Trunk or Treat event at Maple Grange Park on Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon until 2 p.m.

Cars must park by 11:30 a.m. in designated area and can depart at 2 p.m.; children will start "treating" at 1 p.m.

Register your vehicle online by Friday, Oct. 16, at vernon.recdesk.com.

This year's event includes crafts, a live concert and contest for best decorated trunk.
