HACKETTSTOWN — “All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players”.

Such is the case in William Shakespeare’s masterpiece pastoral comedy about love and mistaken identity, "As You Like It." Centenary College’s NextStage Repertory brings the flirtatious romp through the fictional Forest of Arden to the Little Theater, Nov. 5, through Nov. 8.

Merry, mischief, curiosity and surprise flourish in one of Shakespeare’s richest and most popular comedies. When Rosalind and Orlando are separately banished from their own homes and family they set out to the Forest of Arden with their faithful loyal servants. Rosalind disguises herself as a young man and the two become entangled in a game of mistaken identity. This hysterical romantic comedy highlights the often fickle passionate nature of love while exploring gender roles.

Produced in conjunction with Centenary Stage Company and performed entirely by Centenary College Theater Students NextStage Rep. celebrates the collaboration between the Centenary College Theater Department and the professional Centenary Stage Company.
