VFW holds veterans' luncheon

VERNON — The VFW Wallkill Valley Memorial Post #8441 hosted a Veteran's Luncheon for some Veterans from the VA NJ Health Care System - LYONS Campus on Nov. 1.
A home-cooked turkey dinner with all the trimmings was on the menu. In addition, gift bags were available that were coordinated with the Church Youth group from Our Lady of Fatima and Walmart cards were given to the Veterans.
The Auxiliary with the help from the Post members have been sponsoring the Veterans twice a year for 25 years.
