Chamber orchestra plays for state school boards

VERNON — Members of the Vernon Township High School Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Jennifer Krott, performed at the New Jersey School Board Workshop in Atlantic City the last week of October.

The VTHS Chamber Orchestra was selected by audition to be one of four performing groups showcased during the three-day workshop. The students performed a 20-minute concert while school board members from around the state waited to be addressed by the Commissioner of Education.

VTHS Chamber Orchestra performers included Jessica Dunlop, Brittany Gaule, Alexander Gaura, Ethan Kolonoski, Hannah Lowery, David MacMillan, Victoria Meneses, and William Murphy.
