Wantage first Aid Squad holds open house

Wantage Township First Aid Squad member Michael Puskas explained that the squad’s open house on Sunday had two purposes.

The first being to show residents the unit’s state-of-the-art gear and the second to entice between six to 10 new members to join their volunteer group.

The squad currently has about three dozen active and semiactive members. But additional members are needed in order to give the volunteers time off to be with their families and friends.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the squad located at 888 State Route 23 in upper Wantage, visit their website at www.wantagetwpfas.org.
