Wantage church plans winter apparel drive

WANTAGE — The Wantage United Methodist Church has begun to prepare for their Fifth Annual Free Christmas Day dinner by hosting a winter apparel drive.

They are accepting coats of any and all sizes, gloves, mittens, hats and scarves.

These must be in new or gently used condition, and they must be clean. In addition to the winter apparel, they are also collecting gently used or new blankets. The blankets can be of any variety: comforters, quilts, throws, etc.

All of these winter items will be distributed at the Christmas dinner freely to anyone that needs them.

The Winter Apparel drive will run from now until Dec. 20.
