Margaret Ann Day

Margaret Ann Day(nee Romyns), 78 years old, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015. Born to Charles and Esther Romyns in Franklin, N.J., she has been a lifelong resident of Hardyston Twp., N.J.

Margaret was a bus attendent in Sparta and worked as a hairdresser, as well as serving as a substitute cosmetology teacher at Sussex County Vo-Tech. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Franklin, N.J. She enjoyed quilting and was a doting grandmother and great grandmother.

Margaret was the beloved wife for 60 years of Charles Day of Hardyston Twp., N.J. Devoted mother of Terry E. Santamaria and her husband, Victor, of Hardyston Twp., N.J., Tammy Senise and her husband, Glenn of Hardyston Twp., N.J., and Tracy Decker and her husband, David, of Sarasota, Fla., loving grandmother of Alyssa, Tonya, Todd, Tyann, Chad, Marcy and Cody. Cherished great grandmother of Levi, Wyatt, Cianna, A.J. and Ezra. Dear sister of Betty Yanvary of Wantage Twp., NJ and Catherine Tucker of Sarasota, Fla.

Graveside services were Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp., N.J. Memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 25 Parker Street, Franklin, N.J. Funeral arrangements by F.
