Sussex-Wantage students see 'New Kid'

WANTAGE — Sussex- Wantage Regional School District students in grades 2-5 attended the paly, "New Kid", presented by the George Street Playhouse on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

This show addressed the topics of prejudice and bullying with humor and thoughtfulness. All of our students enjoyed the interaction afterward with the cast members.

Many students went back to their classrooms and discussed what they would have done in the situation that the play presented and also brainstormed ways they can continue to be “up-standers” in their school community.
