Santa and Mrs. Paws arrive in Vernon to help dog park

Vernon resident Dimitri KniazevþÄôs basset hound, Lilu, proved to be much heavier than Mrs. Paws expected. But, itþÄôs all in a dayþÄôs work.

VERNON — When Santa and Mrs. Paws came to visit their best friends Pete and Barbara Boniface of Highland Lakes, they decided that it would be a great idea to help out the Vernon Dog Park once again.
On Saturday, about 75 dogs visited with Santa and his missus for a combined total of 42 photoshoots. New to this year’s DOGS (Dog Owners Gathering Society) of Vernon Santa visit was Beverly Budz, who donated her photographic skills.
