Walnut Ridge students participate in painting class

VERNON — Walnut Ridge Primary School preschool, kindergarten and first-grade students recently participated in a painting class by Painted Grape where they learned the basics of painting techniques.

Owner Rebecca Sajban led each class helping each student find their “inner” artist.

The Walnut Ridge School and Community Association (SCA) sponsored this event that held sessions for each grade level. Preschool students painted a snowman and kindergarten and first-grade students painted a penguin.

Students created their own masterpiece that will serve as holiday presents for their family members.
