Lusscroft Farm plans holiday open house benefit

    The Annual Holiday Open House Benefit at Lusscroft Farm will held on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

    Attendees will enjoy holiday shopping while exploring the festively decorated Turner Mansion and the Christmas Cottage, filled with local crafters, vendors, farmers, historical displays, the Gift Shop, and the new Bargain Room. Acoustic holiday music and vocals by Deb D'Anne, Mingo Lodge and special guests will delight on both days, and on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the Rockaway Dulcimer Ensemble will serenade in the Turner Mansion.

    Savor and purchase wine from Ventimiglia Vineyards, enjoy a hot lunch and bring home a delicious desert from the Bake Sale. The Lusscroft Photography Competition entries will be on display and visitors can vote for their favorite photo. The photography awards ceremony will held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

    Admission is $5 per adult, children under age 17 are free. Proceeds go to ongoing restoration efforts at the historic farm, which is affiliated with High Point State Park. Lusscroft Farm is located at the intersection of 50 Neilson Road & 4-H Trail, Wantage. An alternate entrance will be available on County Route 519 at mile marker 81, by the stone gatehouse.
