    Richard T. English, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Carl and Vivian English, Richard had lived in Massachusetts and Florida before moving to Sussex County. He had served in the United States Army as a paratrooper and became a Green Beret during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed by Hitachi America in Burlington, Massachusetts as a National Sales Manager before his retirement. Mr. English is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie C.; his son, Richard Mark English and his wife, Debra, of Salem, New Hampshire; his daughter, Virginia R. Pagano and her husband, Vincent, of Wantage; his two grandchildren, Maxine Webber of Carle Place, N.Y., and Vincent Pagano, Jr. of Wantage; and his two great grandchildren, Emerson Grace Webber and Sierra Marie Webber. Funeral services were held at 9:15 a.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016. Mass of Christian burial followed at 10 a.m. at St. Jude The Apostle Church, 4-24 Beaver Run Road, Hamburg, NJ 07419. Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends paid their respects to the family on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
