Peters Valley issues call for artists

Layton — Applications are being accepted for the 46th Annual Peters Valley Fine Craft Fair, scheduled for Sept. 24 and 25.

Applications for consideration must be submitted by April 11. Applications prior to April 1 have a reduced fee.

The event accepts 150 exhibitors based on quality of artwork. The event is held indoors at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, rain or shine. A variety of media is accepted including ceramics, leather, sculpture, wearables, photography, glass, metal, jewelry, wood, drawings/paintings and works of mixed media. A handful of artisanal food exhibitors also will be accepted. The weekend event is one of the top in the nation, attracting large crowds from the tri-state area for a weekend of art and entertainment.

This year’s jurors are: Judith Neugebauer, Tom Neugebauer and Margie Cohen.
