The National Math Club, formally known as MATHCOUNTS, is a nationwide middle school math program designed to coach students in mathematical problem-solving through competition.

The students practice challenging math problems both individually and as teams.

At Glen Meadow, it is an after-school program open to both seventh- and eighth-grade students under the supervision of Anthony Ferrara.

On Jan. 30, tens of our mathletes attended the North Central Chapter Competition at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where they competed against 28 other schools. Jonah Moore was the top scorer for the school.

The following students demonstrated extreme enthusiasm, interest, and commitment to the program. The team contestants were Jonah Moore, Tara Mullaney, Zach Normandin, Hannah Van Blarcom. The individual contestants were Sarah Bollard, Kaitlyn Buurman, Joseph Cimo, Joseph Esposito, Jared Kulp, Nyah Selby.
