Wallkill Valley Regional High School Drama Department is proud to present ‘Curtains,’ a musical comedy whodunit at the high school on Grumm Road in Hamburg.

Performances will be March 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and March 13 at 3 p.m.

Wallkill, which produced “The Addam’s Family” to sold-out crowds last year, is excited about this year’s musical comedy and rousing production numbers.

“What I like best about this musical is that as an audience member you get to try to figure out who committed the crime while enjoying large production numbers and catchy music," director Christine Molnar said.

This ensemble production includes: Chris Hara (Lieutenant Frank Cioffi), Sam Hutnick (Carmen Bernstein), Nicole Verga (Niki Harris), Brittany Stuart (Georgia Hendricks), AJ Rosario (Aaron Fox), Ryan Oleksy (Christopher Belling), Lia Pila (Bambi Bernet), Vinny Kurinzi (Bobby Pepper), Justin Vasquez (Daryl Grady), Justin Robertson (Sidney Bernstein), Emily Vanicek (Jenny Harmon), Michael Majewski (Oscar Shapiro), Kali Wright (Jessica Cranshaw), Sam Delihasani (Randy), and Mikaela Crowell (Detective O’ Farrell).

Wallkill held auditions in November and the cast, crew and orchestra are already in full-swing production. Students, staff and volunteers are busy creating sets of this ‘play within a play’, rehearsing six days a week, learning dance numbers and practicing music and songs. Assisting Molnar is Denise Kulhan, with choreography, and instrumental direction by Jeff Colarusso. Set construction is all being done in house under the direction of Michael Napovier and the Art department is busy painting and adding fine touches to the sets, program and lobby.

‘Curtains’ tickets will go on sale by Feb. 15 and audience members are encouraged to purchase early.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults and there is a discount for students and senior citizens in pre-sale only of $12. Reservations can be made online at www.ticketpeak.com/Wallkill or by calling 973-827-4100 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
