Persia promoted at Highlands Bank

Highlands State Bank recently promoted Eileen D. Piersa to Executive Vice President, chief financial officer and treasurer of Highlands State Bank and its parent company Highlands Bancorp, Inc. Piersa has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer, and treasurer of Highlands State Bank since the Bank’s inception in 2005, and senior vice president and chief financial officer, and treasurer of Highlands Bancorp, Inc. since its inception in 2010.

Piersa, a resident of Mahwah, is a graduate of Montclair State University and received her MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has more than 30 years of banking experience and has previously held financial management positions with other local financial institutions including First Fidelity Bank, Independence Bank of New Jersey, and Commerce Bank. Ms. Piersa is a member of the NJ Bankers Association’s CFO Committee and the Institute of Management Accountants.
