Sussex Bank will celebrate its 40th Anniversary today with employees and customers sharing cake, coffee and friendship.

We invite you to celebrate with us at one of our local branches and share this important milestone with us.

Sussex Bank opened its first branch in Franklin Borough on Feb. 9, 1976, and for 40 years has made serving the needs of its customers and communities its top priority.

“We have reached our 40th anniversary by putting our customers first in everything we do, each and every day,” said Anthony Labozzetta, President & CEO of Sussex Bank. “We have and will continue to act in accordance with that guiding principle—by doing the right thing for your customers, you are also doing the right thing for your business. When you care for the needs of your customers, employees, communities and shareholders, you end up building a company grounded on solid and sustainable values,” said Labozzetta.

As Sussex Bank looks towards the next 40 years, it is excited about what lies ahead.

In 2015, the bank opened its first branch in Astoria, N.Y., and in 2016 will be opening a new branch in Oradell, N.J.

“The bank is coming off one of its strongest years ever and we are committed to extending our strong customer culture into new communities and helping their residents and businesses achieve their financial goals”, said Labozzetta.
