James H. Fischer, 18, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at Morristown Medical Center due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. James, the son of William and Carla “Charlie” (Jefferson) Fischer, III, was born in Hackensack Dec. 18, 1997, and has been a lifelong resident of Wantage Twp.
James was a student at Sussex County Community College where his love for writing directed him to major in Journalism. He was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. James also worked at the Quick Chek in Wantage where he was a member of the “Fuel Team.”
He is survived by his devoted and loving parents, William F. III and Charlie Fischer of Wantage; caring brothers and sister, William F. IV, Karl, Emily and Elijah; cherished grandparents, Marie Fischer of Wantage Twp. and Howard T. and Carla P. Jefferson of Dagsboro, Del., as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 6 p.m. at Lafayette Federated Church 180 State Rt. 15 Lafayette, NJ 07848.
