    Wantage resident Liam Leech, 11, brought his micro pig to the grand reopening of Farmside Supplies on Saturday, so that visitors could pet him and learn more about the breed.

SUSSEX BOROUGH — Hundreds of people explored Farmside on Saturday and came away with free samples to bring home to their hungry pets and in some cases farm animals as well.
Free hot dogs and hamburgers were available as well as a visit from the mobile unit of WSUS FM radio. Horse and pony rides were offered by Wantage-based Pepper’s Pony Express. The store also carries products for birds and exotic animals such as reptiles and they offer beekeeping equipment for that growing group of enthusiasts.
Conveniently situated just south of Route 23, Farmside Supplies is located at 15 Loomis Avenue, just south of the Sussex town center.
